4 ultraviolet LEDs lure the pests and zap them with the high voltage grid once they get too close. This patent-pending bulb also utilizes Titanium Dioxide composite to produce CO2, which specifically lures mosquitos. It's a silent, chemical-free solution to mosquitos and other flying pests, and there's no cords or batteries to worry about.

After installing the bulb, simply flick the light switch on to turn on both functions. Flick the switch on and off to activate only the pest killing function. Note: The white LED function cannot operate on it's own.

The bulb is housed in durable plastic that won't shatter if dropped, and safely protects you from accidental zaps during normal handling. Small fingers can slip through however, and be aware that there may still be a leftover charge on the metal grid, even if the bulb isn't plugged in.

Works as advertised

I live in Florida and spend a lot of time on my screened porch at night. This light helps control the tiny pests that are small enough to sneak through the screens, attracted by my TV. When I retire for the evening, I leave it on all night to zap the stragglers.

The lightbulb part is great, I have not had any luck with it killing bugs tho. Nice bright light from the bulb which brightens up the deck at least.

I was regularly getting bitten three or four times a night. I purchased the bulb, switched it on and after 2 weeks of use, Im amazingly getting bitten three or four times a night. I checked the bulb to see if its zapping any mosquitos and not one has been captured. Sorry, but not a fan

Great for ridding home of flying insects

I had a problem with some flies in my apartment so bought this as a safe alternative to chemicals or fly papers, etc. They were attracted to the blue light and were quickie dispatched. Comes with a brush for cleaning.

Hasnt done a thing

We get gnats and mosquitos thru our fireplace. Installed near that location to zap these nuisances. Hasnt worked in stopping any of the pests. Not even once!

THIS WORKS GREAT!!!

I have a light fixture right outside of my kitchen door. Every evening and night, when I let my dog out, in the few seconds Id have the door open, Id have mosquito bites on my arms and one or two in the kitchen. Now, there are no swarming mosquitoes. The Zap bulb is full of mosquito fragments and moths every morning. Very easy to clean out with the little brush. Can brush debris to bottom and eventually easily twist off bottom of bulb to thoroughly clean. NO MORE BITES!!! Thank You!!!

WOW.......BUT

BOUGHT 2+2+2+4 FOR ME AND FRIENDS. MINE WORKED REALLY WELL. NO SKEETERS AND OUR YARD IS NOT SMALL. SENT 2 TO FRIENDS IN THE MOUNTAIN REGIONS OF NY WHERE BLACK FLIES ARE A PROBLEM. DONT KNOW YET IF THE UV AND CO2 WORK ON THOSE. I USED 2 OUT BACK LAST YEAR. STARTED TO USE THE SAME ONES THIS YEAR AND IN ONE BULB THE 4 TINY UV LIGHTS WERE VERY DIM THEN NOT WORKING AT ALL. IT WAS NOT USED FOR 30K HOURS FOR SURE. UPSET ME A BIT, THE LIGHT BULB WORKS FINE. YESTERDAY I RECEIVED A SPECIAL E-MAIL FOR THESE AND THE PRICE WAS 9.91. ORDERED 4 MORE AND THEY RANG UP AT 12.98 AT CHECK OUT. CALLED THE 800 NUMBER AND THE OPERATOR FIXED THE PRICING ISSUE. 2 in 1 Ninja Light Bulb

I give it 2-Stars for a couple of reasons. First off I havent heard it ZAP anything since installing it in my patio 3-weeks ago.Also, its connected to a ceiling outlet which comes on automatically I dont need the bulb on and I have to manually turn it off and back on again just for the ZAPPER portion to be activated.

Great products which work as Advertised

I have two, one at the front door and one at the back. They do a great job of keeping mosquitoes out of the apartment. I have to clean them at least once every two weeks which is their only drawback.

Bring on the Bugs

The bulb attracts bugs for sure but they do not go into the cage and expire, they just wait for the door to be opened and follow us in.I bought three and am intending to return two since one is used..........lower your expectations!

They Work

Kills them Dead. Good product, good value. Product as described and works effectively. Sorry, No Snap, Crackle, Pop for each mosquitos demise.The big question is placement of the lights, whether near your location or away, to draw the mosquitos from you, Or to zap them when they are close. Mosquitos are abundant this time of year here, requiring an every other day brushing of the dead ones.

Ive ordered 6 or more ...cant remember. I absolutely love the Ninja LED Light Bulb!They have killed thousands of mesquitos in my back yard. I even put one in my chicken coop, I know they love itSo far I give this a five thumbs up!!!!!But dont know the longevity yet?

No replacement parts!!

I went online to ask if the $20 lightbulb I was buying had replacements for the Titanium Dioxide that attracts the mosquitos.. I've never wanted a light bulb more than this one! I've already ordered a case for myself to put around the house. This 2-in-1 LED light bulb not only shines super bright, but it actually kills mosquitoes!

It utilizes ultraviolet LEDs to attract flying pests, and a metal grid delivers 2000-3000 volts, killing them instantly! But don't worry the whole thing is encased in a sturdy plastic housing so you won't accidentally zap yourself. This updated bulbs uses Titanium Dioxide to produce CO2 - this attracts mosquitos two times better than traditional methods!

All you have to do is install it like a regular light bulb, and turn it on. The light bulb and UV light go on right away, but if you want just the bug killing function - flick the switch off then on again with the smart switch technology.

It's a chemical-free alternative to bug spray, and completely silent while it's running. Forget complicated electrical setups with long cords that look ugly in the back yard - simply screw in a light bulb! It doesn't get easier than that to help protect yourself from Zika or West Nile Virus.

Now I don't want to sell the other function short: this is a fantastic LED light bulb. Compared to traditional incandescent bulbs, they are brighter, last longer, and are far more energy efficient.
